Drawbridge in Elblag (historically: Low) was built in the streets of Orla-Studzienna in 2013. The bridge (two-span) has a length of 56 m and a width of 9 m. Designed primarily for pedestrians and vehicles. Additionally equipped with closed barriers and voice signaling. Bridge automatically controlled.

Hours in which you can see opening / closing: 07.00 am, 09.00 am, 11.00 am, 01.00 pm, 03.00 pm, 05.00pm, 07.00 pm, 09.00 pm outside the freezing period.

Scope of work

In 2011, during the construction of the bridge in Elbląg, AN-ELEC was responsible for the following works:

  • design and implementation of automation of bridge control (PLC + HMI) with a control algorithm. Built on the basis of Mitsubishi L series PLC controllers and remote I / O so-called islands - distributed system. The system reports all operations performed by the bridge service (dot matrix printer + ribbon type paper)
  • CCTV video system
  • sound system on the bridge
  • delivery, installation and commissioning of the backup power supply system
