Unit description

Cooper Viking is a PSV vessel, construction is carried out in the Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. for Borealis Maritime cooperating with the Swedish shipowner Viking Supply Ships AB.

The units will be powered by LNG, equipped with computer control and data transmission systems enabling remote management of the unit. Cooper Viking will also be equipped with a hybrid battery system. Moreover, the vessel has a working deck area of 1000 m2 and a load capacity of over 5000 t.

Scope of work

AN-ELEC was entrusted with the following works during the construction of the Copper Viking (PSV 856/4):

• assembly of cable routes (main and local)
• installation of 190,000 m of cable
• connection of switchgears and electrical devices
• boot systems
• passing all work for the Shipowner and the Classification Society
