Project description

Ex switchboards for the process industry. Inside the switchboards there is a dedicated controller to control the process in a given production section. The connections are led out to intrinsically safe connectors, and cables are led in dedicated cable ducts. As part of the project, the switchboards were fitted with Ex glands and plugs for both control and power connections.

FATs were carried out with the customer prior to shipment.

Scope of work

For the "Corda Rio" project our company was responsible for:

• purchase, delivery of suitable materials, components necessary for construction
• construction of switchboards
• mechanical control of switchboards
• detailed as-built measurements and verification of connections
• FAT tests
