ZOURITE (NB 105)

The unit is a specialized self-propelled bar NB105. ZOURITE is a French word "octopus" built in 2016 at the yard of Crist S.A. for Bouygues Travaux Publics S.A. will be used to build the longest and most expensive French navigable bridge, which is to be 5.4 km long (48 of the 50 piers are to be in the sea).

ZOURITE (NB 105) is a barge with a total length of 107 m and a width of 44 m (equivalent to 4 full-sized tennis courts) for the construction of which 6800 tons of prefabricated steel were used. The gross tonnage of the unit is 9242 and the load capacity is 5550 tons.

Scope of work

On Crist Shipyard AN-ELEC on project ZOURITE (NB 105) performed the following works:

• execution of a comprehensive electrical installation with delivery of materials
• manufacture of electrical switchgears
• launch and passing for shipowner and the Classification Society
• execution of complete electrical documentation for residential modules
