BOS ATLANTIC

Unit description

The unit was built in 1986. It was originally named OCEAN PRINCESS, POLAR PRINCESS and TIMMIARMIUT. The ship, rebuilt at the Nauta shipyard, after a 7-month conversion into a seismic ship under the new name BOS ATLANIC, was delivered to the shipowner. Currently, the ship sails under the name ARTEMIS ATLANTIC.

The ship has a total length of 67.3 m and a width of 14.51 m. The gross tonnage of the unit is 3,276.

Scope of work

During the conversion of the BOS ATLANTIC unit into a seismic vessel, AN-ELEC was responsible for the following works:

• installation of cable tracks
• execution of electrical installation
• construction, assembly and commissioning of electrical switchboards
