Project description

Another series of control switchboards construction for railroad traffic supervising systems in the town of Blerick. The switchboards are equipped with Siemens, Sprecon, a-eberle controllers and ABB relays.

Internal connections made with the utmost care and attention to repeatability, since all the switchboards, although located in different cities, are made in the same way - which guarantees efficient service and periodic measurements of the systems. The switchboards are designed for control rooms and outdoor applications in stainless steel with internal temperature control system. Cable connections from outside through stainless steel glands in EMC standard.

The switchboards undergo mechanical inspection and detailed measurements, including verification of connections (2000+ control points per switchgear) with several days of FAT tests with the customer.

Scope of work

For the "Blerick" project our company was responsible for:

• purchase, delivery of suitable materials, components necessary for construction
• construction of control switchboards
• mechanical control of switchboards
• detailed as-built measurements and verification of connections
• FAT tests
