The National Maritime Museum is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, designed by the Dutch architect Daniël Stalpaert and built in 1656. In the years 2007 - 2011 the Scheepvaartmuseum underwent a thorough renovation and was reopened on 2 October 2011. Museum annually, on average visited more than 300000 people.
