Project description

Construction of two A200 horizontal switchboards for a Dutch customer. The design is based on a special EMC housing for outdoor conditions by the manufacturer Rittal in Germany. Switchgears equipped with a set of protections, current controllers with shunts, temperature and humidity sensor, Phoenix measurement terminals and Harting connectors, all controlled by Siemens controllers mounted on swinging frames. The switchgear is connected to the system via Harting plugs in the switchgear cable compartment. The light in the switchboard is turned on automatically by lamps with an integrated motion sensor, and the opening of any door is signaled thanks to the installed limit sensors.

Scope of work

When implementing this project, our company was responsible for:

• purchase and delivery of appropriate materials and components necessary for construction
• construction of switchboards
• mechanical inspection of switchboards
• detailed as-built measurements and verification of connections
• FAT tests
