Control containers for MV

Project description

Containers for controlling transformer stations in the energy system in the Netherlands. They make it possible to take over the control of a unit that will undergo renovation or modernization.

Individual switchgears are based on the Rittal construction with a tilting frame on which Siemens controllers, ABB test controllers and control equipment are installed. The containers are insulated with sandwich panels, but air-conditioning is also provided to maintain a constant temperature regardless of the season.

Thanks to the container construction, the mobility of the enterprise is ensured by traditional truck transport.

Scope of work

During this project, our company was responsible for:

• purchase and delivery of appropriate materials and components necessary for construction
• construction of switchboards
• mechanical inspection of switchboards
• detailed as-built measurements and verification of connections
• FAT tests
